i know that you're really about what you put into...
Very much so! Our skin is our bodies’ largest organ- it is living, breathing, and responsive. If we start to think of our skin as an actual system of our body just like the muscular, cardiovascular or nervous system, we can start to appreciate it’s importance to our overall body’s health and well being. You have pores all over your entire body that absorb any and everything you put on your skin!...

Also, when you are touring what are some guidelines you go by to keep yourself healthy? I want to be a tour manager & this is one of my concerns.

Anonymous asked: I've been trying to get healthy since forever. We don't have a WholeFoods anywhere near us. I've been to one in my whole life with a friend on vacation. I get Naked Juice or Odwalla whenever I can, which is not often at all. It's way too expensive to have all the time, sadly. I really don't like most vegetables and some fruits. I don't like a lot of foods because...

hannahshanker asked: Livonia?! I live in Novi! Small world.
Anyway, I've been a vegetarian for about 4 years and just recently my weight has started to go really dramatically up and down in really short periods of time. For example, I'll suddenly gain around 8 pounds then by the next week I'll lose something like 12 pounds. I'm not at all concerned about how much I weigh/appearance, I just...

ms-boxcar asked: Hey love,

I don't know how much you know about, or are interested in, but when you are stationary you should really look into supporting farmer's markets and co-ops!

All the same good stuff you can find at Whole Foods, but it's all supporting local small time businesses that struggle to stay afloat while trying to spread the word of healthy wholesome...

However, the person who does the grocery shopping in my house is my mom, who buys cheap, non-organic foods - in other words, meats that are most likely factory farmed, white breads, and junk food to snack on. I really want to start eating healthy, but how would i convey the message to my...

Brown vs White Rice
White rice is literally brown rice that has been stripped of all its fiber and nutrients.  The loss of nutrients is broad and substantial. Plain white rice has far less Vitamin E, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folacin, Potassium, Magnesium, Iron and over dozen other nutrients.  Added to that, the dietary fiber contained in white rice is around a quarter of brown rice. Why is this bad?...

Anonymous asked: For those who want to eat healthy, Whole Foods is really not that pricey! When they have sales, their prices are typically BETTER than the leading grocery store.
